Master Ghasry has been a part of our familys life since 2002. My oldest son Robb started taking Tae Kwon Do lessons at age fifteen. Seven years later, Robb has earned his Second Dan Black Belt and I am convinced that Tae Kwon Do will be an important part of his life for many years. Robb has clearly benefitted from the physical exercise. But more importantly, he has developed a strong sense of discipline and respect. His self confidence has also increased significantly. Without question, Master Ghasry has been responsible for all of this. He combines tremendous martial arts skills with a great teaching technique, personal integrity, humility and a good sense of humour.
When my youngest son Michael saw Robbs performance at his initial Black Belt test, he decided he wanted to take up the sport as well. Master Ghasry has worked with Michael and Michael is now a Black Belt.
Earlier this year, I started taking Tae Kwon Do lessons with Master Ghasry. I thought that age 58 may be a little late to start, but I am also hooked. My flexibility, endurance and strength have all improved considerably and it is a lot of fun.
We all consider Master Ghasry a very good friend and our respect for his skills and knowledge is exceptionally high. I would not hesitate to recommend Master Ghasry to anyone interested in learning Tae Kwon Do.

Testimonials
When I met Master Ghasry in 1995 , I was immediately impressed with his abilities as a martial artist. I joined the club that very same day, and was equally impressed with the polite and hard working nature of his students. His students are certainly a direct reflection of his teaching.
Master Ghasry has a unique combination of an exceptional physical ability as well as a sincere passion for teaching. As a national Taekwondo champion, he has represented Canada internationally on several occasions. Master Ghasry has a true desire to teach martial arts with proper technique and encourages through positive reinforcement. He understands what motivates people, and encourages the children he teaches to succeed at school through confidence and perseverance.
Toronto is lucky to have one of the finest martial arts teachers in the country.

I first encountered Master Ghasry when I registered my son, Cameron, in his Tae Kwon Do classes. I was very impressed at that time not only by the quality of his teaching, but also by the fact that the children were taught (and subsequently expected) to behave in a polite, gentle, and respectful manner while in class and then to extend that type of behavior both to home and to school. Cameron"s enthusiasm for Tae Kwon Do, as taught by Master Ghasry was infectious, and after watching one of his belt tests, I became determined to try it out myself. This was one of the best decisions I have made in the past several years - Master Ghasry"s classes were the perfect combination of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training for an adult. Better yet, his classes challenged me physically and intellectually, and convinced me that I could ultimately obtain a black belt, something which I had honestly never expected to do at this stage of my life. Equally important from my own perspective was the fact that his classes provided a highly collegial, and supportive environment, largely as a consequence of Master Ghasry"s leadership. I highly recommend Master Ghasry as a teacher/mentor for children or adults.

Personally, I owe Master Ghasry a great debt of gratitude; when I started I thought I'd be doing martial arts, little did I realize I'd be experiencing changes that reached into most facets of my life. Physically, I feel terrific" not just because of the Taekwondo classes, but also because of Master Ghasry's introduction to running and yoga. And it's not just physical, but includes the example he sets in community . I admire everything about Master Ghasry; from the high standards he always sets by his example not just in training, but to everything ,he always had the right values. These are wonderful standards for us and for society as a whole.

Two of my sons attended Master Ghasry"s Tae-Kwon-Do classes from the time they were very young; they are both teenagers now. We have always been very impressed with Master Ghasry. He is a rare and wonderful person. When you meet him, your "camera clicks"; that is, you know when you meet him that he will have a profound effect on you and that you will never forget his influence. Our entire neighbourhood referred to him both fondly and reverently for his kind, firm, and inspirational teaching and mentoring of our children, and we were very sorry when he moved away. I owe Master Ghasry lifelong thanks for the effect he had on my sons and for his role in launching them to be fine young men.

Seven years ago I decided to enroll my three children, Kyra, Quentin and Teya, in a martial arts program... Master Ghasry not only developed the athlete in my children but he also encouraged an integrative, holistic approach to being a true Tae Kwon Do artist...I have witnessed my three children develop into empowered, able young adults under the tutelage of this man.[...]
Master Ghasry is a master teacher. There is a big difference between great teaching and teaching at a master level. Great teaching involves the ability to instruct appropriate technique as to bring a level of awareness so that students can understand and apply the principles needed to execute the appropriate movements. However, a master teacher is one who can artfully instruct technique and also mindfully weave a connective capacity that connects himself to his students, students to each other, and everyone to the subject being studied. It is rare to find this combination of teaching skills; however without a doubt, Master Ghasry embodies this level of expertise.
Unequivocally, Master Ghasry is a champion of the child spirit. I am filled with gratitude and inherently know that my children were blessed to have such a master in Master Ghasry. He will be a memorable and positive force in their lives forever and ever.

After training with Master Ghasry since his early days as a teacher, I can say without question that he has a tremendous amount of skill and is a great practitioner of the martial arts; I have learned a great deal from him about martial arts and about life in general. Master Ghasrys commitment to the martial arts and his students is impressive and he is an all-round great martial arts professional.

Mr. Reza, Very rarely in our industry (or any industry for that matter) I find someone that has both a high level in competency and character, the 2 qualities of a complete person. I have found you to be such a person and I wanted to take this time to thank you for being the gift that you are in my life. Congratulations on openning your new school in Beverly Hill. I am sure that your students will benefit for all that you have to offer to them and the community. Your friend Fariborz Azhakh
